Professional Experience

Prasad Jaladi is a Social Entrepreneur, Founder, and Chief Facilitator of Suraksha based in Austin, Texas, USA. Suraksha has global reach out, promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, enterprise development along with environmental protection through consulting, mentoring, workshops and training programs. Suraksha’s commitment to support entrepreneurship was featured in the UN’s Oceans Conference and Convention on Biological Diverisity newsletters. He and Suraksha are Founding Members of the MesoAM SDG 17 Coalition group in the USA. Prasad is a Keynote speaker/speaker on global platforms about “Innovation for a Sustainable Planet” and gave numerous talks around the globe. He was a member of special interest groups in Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, Austin, Texas to support industries and workforce development. Prasad was a member of prestigious nonprofit organizations that promote innovation, entrepreneurship, enterprise development, mentorship, professional development and networking in multiple industries in the US. 

Prasad has executive experience in IT including emerging technologies, biotech, and pharma industries. Prasad is a steering committee member of the Texas Sustainable Business Network - USA, Ambassador for My Green Labs, former member of Austin AI Alliance, Hosting Committee member of Texas Sustainable Cities Summit, Ambassador for Island Innovation, and Fullerenes scientific exploratory committee member to Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation, India. In 2016 Prasad signed an MOU to support innovation and entrepreneurship in Andhra Pradesh State in India. He gave a talk at Global Forum for Sustainable Transformation, India. 

Prasad built partnerships to foster innovation and entrepreneurship. Prasad works with international scientists and organizations for technology commercialization. He supported as a mentor at startup incubators in the US - The Founder Institute, MassChallenge, University of Texas Austin Blackstone LaunchPad, Austin Young Chamber, and in India - Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society, AIC T-HUB, ATAL WE HUB, and India Network. Prasad’s activities to promote science and technology were featured in prestigious international scientific magazines. Prasad hosted international conferences and many workshops, cross functional training programs to promote science and technology, workforce development, innovation, entrepreneurship, and enterprise development. 

Prasad supported Fortune 500/1000 Corporations, Universities, Government, private research institutions, hospitals in the North and South Americas offering software, consulting, and training services. He worked as SAP functional consultant. Prasad established and managed IT consulting businesses in Silicon Valley and Texas. Prasad promoted SaaS for intelligence analytics on technologies, automation of intellectual property management, and data mining in gene expression analysis. He supports the integration of AI, VR/AR, Blockchain, and IoT.

Before moving to the US, Prasad worked in the pharmaceutical industry in India handling management, consulting, business development, R&D, QA, QC, pilot, commercial manufacturing, and US FDA inspections. As R&D manager he had a couple breakthroughs in manufacturing a pharmaceutical product. Prasad is also an early adopter of IT in Indian pharmaceutical industry. Prasad obtained professional training in bioinformatics, molecular methods, drug development, clinical trials from University of California and Project Management from San Jose State University, California, USA. He was affiliated with Molecular Medicine Research Institute, Sunnyvale, California, USA.
